Project Overview

The S:t Hans Golf Club is being developed on the edge of the historic town of Lund, Sweden. Lund is located just a short drive north of Copenhagen, Denmark across the Øresund Bridge. The club is being founded by Håkan and Monika Rasmusson, operators of a local 9-hole club, Värpinge Golfbana.

The S:t Hans project is located on rolling farmland with wetlands and historic sites including a Bronze Age burial mound. The plan incorporates both wetlands and the burial mound in protected areas. Environmental sustainability and low water usage are hallmarks of the design for the par-72, 18-hole course and practice facilities. Among the innovative solutions for integrating the course to the landscape will be preserved farm roads, drainage ditches and the relocation of a historic barn to the property to be used both as a feature and for storage of maintenance equipment.

The course will measure just over 6,400 meters (approximately 7,000 yards) from the back tees. Flexibility will allow the course to be set up for all playing abilities.
